Woke up to move the car as we are in a time gated spot apparently these things are required for you to place them in you car for "max 90 mins" type places with the time you started

Time to read a bit more of The Expanse from the balcony after some nice bread+croissant breakfast

Have to say, I could get used to that, it was a very relaxing place to read, but now it's time to go to lunch

City is so picturesque downtown, getting real Old Montreal vibes here (wonder why)

Important announcement

This is so Europe

Went back now heading out to buy the sticker to use the paid highways for tomorrow and get some ice cream, also almost all places here have these external screens to block the sun

Why yes I do want a $75 ham sandwich

Got back earlier and then did some errands like putting the highway sticker on the car, testing the nav system, getting my dad's carryon for tomorrow's adventure start, some groceries and now making pesto

I did learn a fun Switzerland fact, he said when he moves out they apparently put a measured amount of water in the sink and time how long it takes to drain to make sure you didn't unduly clog it.

Said homemade pesto, it was quite tasty.

Today the heat had been substantially more annoying than yesterday and there's less wind to cool things down, it's time for bed but tomorrow we(I) are driving out to a chocolate factory in the AM, for now I sleep (or try to in this heat).

I miss AC so much.
