11:55 So so so, where'd I leave off? I think I was in traffic to pay for parking. After that we got to a friend/acquaintance? of my uncle's house which is apparently pretty well know with one of the most extensive collections of African art and is next to the National Park. It's called Africa House and it's really nice, though *cough* where's the wifi. On that topic sort of regretting my plan to use my nexus 4 as my phone /data source and my 6P for photos and usage because I forgot just how bad the battery had gotten on it, might have to reconsider the sim card I got and get another one? Idk...
Regardless on to the happenings. My uncle'd come to pick me up with his friend Smith who's going to Chicago for a master's in law soon. After arriving and meeting Alan and two of my uncle's friends/coworkers? Joy (she a name pin she wears when meeting new people, nice of her) and Wambui. I feel like we got there a bit later than Alan would have liked but I don't control the planes D:
We sat down for dinner and started off with some nice tomato soup and a Kenyan version of chapati along with some local beer, er... Tusker. I guess it was fine though to me beer is still beer. The soup was nice though. Then we had some corn on the cob using a carved bone as the cob, mine had an elephant on the end you hold, followed by a refreshing garden salad and some pickles. The main course was chicken in a red coconut curry type sauce which was tasty, nothing too unusual yet. The dessert was some ice cream over fruit salad (apparently some of the fruits were gifts from the Russian ambassador, my uncle knows people and knows people that know people I guess). After that I went to my room which is very pretty.

Even the bathroom is nice and semi open air though still closed. But anywho, after the dinner everyone but me left and we're reconvening at 10:30 but breakfast is at 8. I treated most of my clothes with a mosquito repellant thing, took a nice shower and I guess am about to sleep, let's see what my first actual day is like since night time hides a lot.
