We were gonna walk around downtown Mérida but drove there to do so and it was dead because Xmas and very very similar to Valladolid so we drove around a bit and will kill time in the Gran museo del mundo maya de Mérida with our last Mayan hurrah

Starts off mostly with where Maya are now

The "welcome" tequila drink is like 2 shots

Very relaxing, but i think if we get another one I'll get something that really goes hard on my back, shoulders, and neck

Now some time to kill before dinner at 8 with my friend

Wrapping up dinner and then back to the hotel, let's see how easy getting a cab on Xmas at this time in a tiny town will go

Back at the hotel, dinner was lovely, got to meet friend's mom and sister

Here's the food, a drink that was weird "False Promises", the pumpkin seed dip (not as good), stuffed cheese (not good), yucca dessert (meh)

Food was not great but the dinner was still a lot of fun

Now sleep and no alarm, before the last long car ride to Play del Carmen tomorrow
